Whimsically inventive

The world we think we knew today will be only completely the same tomorrow in appearance. For all we know, it has changed. By the time we’ve realised what has happened, the world has changed several times over. That is because we are not tuned in to the world, but to our own worlds. But eventually you have to come back to Earth, if only to hear a bird sing a song older than even our humanity, let alone the flawed worlds we built, only to watch their crumble, or burn. I recommend the blackbird, whose birdsong is the most whimsically inventive and delightful.
