Clichés

“Eyes are wounded, nights are luminous and starlit, seagulls are alabaster.”

Eyes are emotionless, nights are unbearable and yet, sublime, and seagulls are anemones.

Clichés can go for years. Centuries, sometimes. We let them, and lose nuances which comprise the truth.

Change them.
